In this activity my task was to answer questions about the text. I needed to  step into Rachel's shoes and find out how she feels. I found this tricky because I didn't look skim and scan carefully enough. My next steps is to skim and scan the text better.

I am learning to find a unit fraction of a set.   I found it easy because I have did something similar before.  My next step is to explain my answer better.

I am learning to write a narrative poem. I found it tricky to write my poem because I didn't have many ideas and I found it tricky to rhyme words. I can keep working on this and next time use a simile.

Reflection I found it this activity easy and tricky. I didn't know what metaphor meant. I enjoyed the book. Next I have to think about what the questions are asking me and make connections.
