I was learning to write a six sentence story. I found it easy because all the imagianation came from the inspiring picture from pobble.My next step is to write a better story.

I am learning to compare these two birds. I found it easy because i jut had to find information off the web. My next step is to compare three animals.

My Reflection
I have been learning to summarise information. I summarised an article from Kiwi Kids News. I found this easy because all I had to do was find information from kiwi kids news and type it up in my own way. My next step is to find more information off kiwi kids news and write about that.

Bio Poem

My Reflection I was learning to write a bio poem. I found it easy because the layout is all made ready. My next step is to extend my vocabulary and make it better.

Self Portrait

My Reflection
I was learning to draw a self portrait. I found it tricky because when I drew it the face was to big. My next step is to draw a full portrait.

Converting Improper to Mixed Fractions

My Reflection

I was learning to convert improper fractions to mixed number using my multiplication facts.

I had to convert the two different fractions, mixed fraction and improper fractions.

My next step is to find more difficult fractions.

Information Report

My Reflection
 I am learning to write an information report. I was able to find an assortment of facts to write about. I found this hard because I was finished but then Mrs Harmse said the paragraph's were to short then I spent a long time to make it longer. My next step is to write more paragraphs.

Paragraph Writing

My Reflection
I am learning to write paragraphs.  I found it tricky because once I found the information I had to rack my brain for an different way to type it. My next step is to write more paragraphs on an different native animal.

Summarising Information

My Reflection I am learning to summarise information by choosing the most important information. I found this interesting because I found out a lot of information I didn't know. I found summarising the information easy because all I needed to do is look some interesting facts on the internet and write them in an different way. My next step is to find facts about another person that is on the New Zealand money.

NZ Write

My Reflection
I got an item to write about. I wrote about a toy dinosaur. I am proud of my poem  because I thought there are nice words in it. I enjoyed colouring the back of the postcard.The picture above is the back of our whole classes postcard put together after we coloured it in.

Decimal Place Value

My Reflection
I am learning to  do decimal place value. It was tricky because I had to edit it at the end. My next step is to get  better at ordering fractions.

Summarising

My reflection
 I am learning to summarise a text.It was tricky to write the sentences in my own words.It was helpful to have a buddy to do this task with. My next learning step is to use what I learnt about summarising and try do this with other texts.

My Reflection
I am proud of this art which I did at Te Tuhi. I am proud of my NZ images because it was awesome to see my print through my background color.

Parts of a Graph

My Reflection

I am learning to identify the parts of the graph.  It was easy because I watched a slide show and I had a good example to refer to. My next learning step is to create a graph with data that I collect.
